Today’s household chores really wore me out. The house was in total chaos after loading all of the materials for Dad’s out of town project last night. There were about thirty workers who loaded the materials into the two 10-wheeler trucks. What caused most of the mess all around the house were the eight hundred bags of cement. There was so much grey dust blown around by the wind that entered the house. I had to swipe everything, from the furniture to the ornaments, etc. The floor was filthy, too; you could see footprints where everyone walked through, so I had to scrub and mop it. And to top it off, I even had to change the curtains. Whew!

I always have one of my MP3 players with me while doing the chores because listening to music perks me up and gets me going, helping me get the job done without feeling so tired. Today was different, however: I’m absolutely exhausted. But I’m done with the chores and I get to spend the rest of the day resting. So, see ya, bye ya, for now!

Water Shortage?

It’s what the headline says a couple of days ago, I think. Gosh! Having this rotational brownout every single day is so annoying already not to mention, time consuming and all. It has been totally affecting our daily lives. And now, this!?

It’s been so hot here in our country now. March being the hottest month, the temperature ranges from 33 to 35 degrees celsius. That is just so hot! And that was the reason behind the power shortage and soon, water shortage. How unlucky we can become.

We do hope they can do something about it though. Fingers crossed!

Once Again

It’s a non-working holiday here today! I posted previously about the long weekend that we had because of Monday being a holiday. And with today being a holiday once again, we will be having another long weekend. Yepper!

The little once has no classes too so I wasn’t in a cramming mode today. What a relief!

Holidays really makes me happy and gay! LOL.

Long Weekend

It’s a holiday here in our country today which makes it a three-day weekend for us. What a relief because Mondays couldn’t be a fun day at times because of tasks and chores that need to be accomplished. Yes, Tuesday and other days can be like that too but at least, one busy day was subtracted leaving only four busy days left. Hehe. Makes sense huh?

The reason behind the holiday is because our country is celebrating the anniversary of the first EDSA Revolution that happened in 1986. The exact date should be February 25th but since it falls on a Thursday, our President decided to move it to Monday so we will have a long weekend. Good idea! It’s not the first time that she has done it though.

It’s midday now and so far it has been such a relaxing day for me. Great!

American Idol

I was delighted to see another episode of American Idol again the other day. It’s been a while that I haven’t seen it because our cable was disconnected. Mom had it reconnected three days ago and I’m just so happy because I’d get to watch my fave shows again.

American Idol is just one among the many TV shows that I like. It’s not the final elimination round yet and I look forward to knowing the new participants this season. I do always have my favorites in every season and though my favorites doesn’t always end up as the big winner, nevertheless, I will still watch the show and hear those nice voices that I wish I got too. Will Be Seeing Them Once Again

I am referring to my favorite shows like American Idol, Amazing Race, etc. and my favorite channels, HBO, Velvet, Lifestyle Network, etc. because mom had the cable reconnected yesterday. Yehey!

It all started the other day when mom mentioned about subscribing to payperview because Manny Pacquiao’s game will be in March already. I then told her that there’s this HBO TV series that my fiance’ is looking forward to watch in March. So we’ve decided to just had the cable reconnected.

And just this morning, I got to see American Idol again after a long time. And yesterday, I enjoyed an action packed movie on HBO while waiting for aunt to finish doing computer works. Super great!

Got Hold of Them

I’m referring to our (my son and I) passports. I finally got hold of them yesterday. I had them done rush because it is needed ASAP and I’m glad I was able to get them even before the paralegal would ask me the information they needed.

I never thought they would need the information this time so I was surprised when they asked me about it. After I was told, that was the only time that I get one as well as for my son. It had to be rushed because of that and I was apprehensive too upon learning that it would take fifteen business days before I’ll get it. Glad everything fell into place.

I’m done with the missions now. Well, partially though since there will be more missions to accomplish soon but that would be in about four to six months yet so no biggy. (“,)

Busy Busy

Yes, I had been busy the past days accomplishing missions that need to be accomplished ASAP. And I wasn’t referring to the never-ending chores that I do everyday but some other important things that has something to do with my life or should I say, my future. (“,)

I was out for three consecutive days last week and the previous week too. I was exhausted in those days but I wasn’t complaining for I know it should be done. And I am actually looking forward to another busy days this week. But after that, I will then have the time to relax and unwind. I do look forward to my R & R but more importantly, I’m certainly looking forward to having those missions accomplished. Yepper!

Achooo!

It’s been raining for like a week now and when it rains, comes the colds. I started to sniffle early this morning while talking to my BA. After we talked, I started sneezing already and then came the runny nose. Poor me.

I’m starting to have a little headache now but I already took med. Hopefully, this will be gone in the afternoon. I don’t like having colds at all.

It Reminded Me of Those Times

One of the many reasons why I often stay up late nowadays is because of the reality tv show PBB or Pinoy Big Brother Double Up. I’ve always been a fan of the show since it started few years ago. I find it fun watching the housemates do their tasks and just being themselves. And this season’s twists make it more exciting.

The latest twist… having Big Utol instead of Big Brother. Big Brother was brought to the hospital because of health problems and they are now having Big Utol or Big Brother’s brother to be in command at the PBB household instead.

Lastnight, Big Utol invited each housemate to drink with him and some of them really got drunk. Watching the housemates Melai, Kath and Mariel being silly and funny because of being drunk reminded me of those days wherein I got drunk too. I got a bit silly at some point but the good thing was, I was with my girlfriends only and we did silly stuff in my bedroom where nobody had seen us. That was during my girlfriend’s bridal shower party and I can still recall every detail of what happened that evening even though I was drunk. And it was fun! fun! fun!

That’s why watching the show last night really made me laugh and nostalgic at the same time. That was the last time I got drunk but not the only time. I don’t think I’d ever get drunk again though. It can be fun but tiring too, not to mention the headache you get the next day. But we’ll see… Hee hee!
