My Comfort Zone

Don’t you just love it when you see elegant yet affordable home makeovers? It never fails to amaze me. That is where I get ideas on how to make our humble abode a little updated. It doesn’t mean buying new furniture and other home decors, though. Most of the time, I just make use of what I have.

But if I had the budget, I wouldn’t have second thoughts of buying new furniture like a new center table perhaps. I’ve seen nice ones at furniture los angeles, but not yet can I make the purchase. Soon, perhaps. It totally depends on the budget. For now, I am happy doing simple things. The most important thing is, I am being complimented. And that is because my son and husband love the decorating ideas that I do.

If it hadn’t been so cold on Christmas Eve, my fiance’ and I could have stayed much longer on the patio at his nephew‘s house. We sat there for a while because he wanted to show me the lovely Christmas décor and lights on a neighbor’s house while we were sitting on the rustic furniture on the patio. It was so lovely and we just gazed on its beauty silently but only for five minutes, I think, because I was freezing.

We had to go back inside then and join everybody for the festivities. The food was good as well as the people. Isn’t it great to celebrate Christmas with family and friends?

Our newest bundle of joy, Summer, my brother’s daughter, will already turn a month old on Saturday, June 5th. My brother and his wife are thinking of having a little get-together to celebrate it. Just what I like because for certain, there will be delicious foods to feast on. Hehe.

Anyway, though their daughter is only turning a month old, they are already thinking of having another baby. I was like, “Really?” But their reason is understandable seeing that they’re not getting any younger, so why wait? I even kidded my sister-in-law that I will help her by reading a best prenatal vitamin review so she’ll know what to take this time since she’s obviously not going to get any younger. She laughed because she knew I was just kidding her about her age.

Thinking about them having another baby makes us excited. A baby always brings joy to the family.

Can you see the people who graced the event? I talked about the Foam Party here before but the pictures I’ve included was taken at day time and here’s what I took during the event itself. Still taken from my BA’s room at the fourth floor of the hotel.

The hotel’s parking area was jam packed with people that night from all ages and from all walks of life. There was a live concert and a popular artist from Manila came to show what they’ve got too. We didn’t stay long though because BA and I will still have to travel out of town the next day.

The stage was at the right side where you can see the spotlight. That night was full of good danceable music, party people and pure fun!

It already rained. We haven’t had rainshowers for weeks and the weather is just so darn hot. It reached to about 35 to 36 degrees, I think which was really so irritating not to mention, not power saving at all. The AC is on almost all throughout the day everyday because of the heat.

But two days ago, we just had a heavy downpour all of a sudden and it felt like a blessing really. It was around 10 o’clock in the evening that time and I was already in bed when I heard the rain starting to fall. I was like, “Wow! Finally!.” And it’s been raining either in the afternoon or in the evening since then. It’s raining now actually and it made me real glad.

Two procedures that i’ve undergone yesterday. It wasn’t in my plan to have such. I was at the mall to buy some stuff and after getting tired of looking around, the idea suddenly popped. It was only facial that i thought of actually. Just a little pampering. But when i got to the salon, the lady offered to give me warts removal since my warts are beginning to multiply and she said it’ll grow big if i’ll not have them removed.

So i had them all removed. My face is now free from warts, black heads and white heads. All you can see now are blood clots courtesy of the warts removal. LOL. But it will be gone in just a couple of days, as per the lady. Well, i really hope so ’cause i have a visitor coming and i don’t want to scare him away. LOL.
