At Least I Don’t Have to Fight Rush Hour Traffic

I am a stay-at-home mom. I am a housekeeper and though some don’t consider it a career, I do have a different perspective on it because I find it fulfilling to do things for my family knowing that I am making them happy which is more than enough reason for me to stay at home and be a housekeeper.

I know I am not the only wife or mom who perceives it this way. A lot of us are happy and fulfilled in this set-up and though it can be tiring because we can compare what we do to Housekeeper Jobs without the pay. It is not easy like many think, but the most important thing is we are happy and we are making our family happy.

You’re Never Too Old To Learn

I am a degree holder – a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and a major in management, to be precise. I was able to find myself a decent job right after graduation but, sad to say, the economy went south so I wasn’t employed long. I only enjoyed three years at that telecommunications company and after that, I had to deal with the search-for-job game again. In the meantime, I just helped my parents with their business while waiting for a good opportunity to knock on my door. That is until training about being a medical transcriptionist was shared with me by a friend.

It’s known that jobs in health care are the most sought after nowadays so I didn’t have second thoughts about it and enrolled myself right away. Being a MT has its pros and cons too. We’ve enjoyed the rewards but many companies are having a hard time dealing with their clients from the U.S. and some of them had to give up and that includes the company I was with.

At present, I am still waiting for another opportunity and I have this feeling that it won’t be long until it will come knocking at my door again. Best of luck to me!

Seek and Ye Shall Find

When I opened my Yahoo! browser earlier, the headline was about the economy and how it has affected the job market. Despite the recession, there are still fields that have not been hit with job losses. One example is the health care industry. Lucky are those who are in that field.

And I believe there are still a lot of jobs out there awaiting the best individual to fill it. Anyone looking for one should just be resourceful. Try having your fingers do the walking and click on an online job search site. Or perhaps ask friends, relatives, etc. There are things you can do to help yourself. As long as you have the determination to get what you want, you can do it. Just believe!
