He’s a Joyful Jumper!

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

Whatever part of the neighborhood we go, there is one common thing that I see: Trampolines, either in the front yard or back yard. We went to a party recently where there was a trampoline and my 8-year-old son enjoyed it a lot and he kept on asking us to buy him one. But the neighbor got one so he can now play anytime he wants.

But he wanted one bigger so I checked some online and I saw one at trampolines connecticut that is really affordable. I may get one for him on his birthday. He’d be jumping for joy, for sure!

Family Fun in the Offing

Wednesday, April 20th, 2011

After the devastating wild weather that hit our state last weekend, we are now looking at days of glorious weather. It reached 70 degrees yesterday and today will be the same and in the coming days it gets even better.

I hope these lovely days will continue so we will be able to enjoy the outdoors especially the commercial playground equipment that the city has at a playground near a lake that is only about a mile drive from our home. My son will be happy with the idea no doubt.

He’s a Gamer, But He Want to Go Big-time

Saturday, October 9th, 2010

My son came home the other day all excited after visiting his friend. His friend got a PS3 for his birthday which lit a fire in my son’s head because he’s got to have one now, so he says. He’s used to playing these games, but this one had even more goodies than he’s used to, such as the PS3 Bluetooth Wireless Headset and Dual Shock controllers so you can hear and feel, totally experience, the excitement of the game. He said it was as if you were actually in the screen being part of the adventure, not just sitting there and playing it; such an imagination he has. And since he likes war games and cars so much, he already has a list of Playstation3 games he wants, like Call of Duty and MX vs ATV. Oh well, I’ll certainly not have a problem with his Christmas list this year, huh?

A Do Nothing State-of-Mind

Have you been in a situation where you couldn’t think of anything else to do because you feel like you’ve done it all? That was the situation I was in yesterday. I’ve seen all the DVDs we rented; I’ve read all the books my fiancé sent me; I’ve read all the magazines I bought; and though I can watch TV if I want to, the shows are just not to my liking. But, I could go play the playstation 3 but I’m simply not in the mood for a game, or I could sing in the videoke but I don’t want to wake the neighbors. LOL.

Well, I just seem to be in a total state of I-don’t-know-what-to-do. There are even more things that I could do but choose not to do, so why bother even thinking about it?  I’ll just chose to continue being bored and wonder why I’m bored. (“,)

Searching for Treasure? Then You Need Light!

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Those Facebook apps are really addictive. I’m already addicted to four games and now there’s a fifth one after a new app was added which is Treasure Isle. Aside from hunting for treasures, I am able to design my home with Tiki stuffs that are really cute – just one of the many things that I like about these apps because my skill in designing is developing.

I just bought a pond today and would like to add a pond light to it later. Hehe. The problem is, they still haven’t added a pond light to purchase. Soon, perhaps. Lights are needed so the visitors won’t have a hard time roaming around my island, and I sure wouldn’t want them to fall in the pond and sue me! LOL. I know I am not the only one addicted to those apps. I bet you may even belong to our group, too. Admit it!

All Work and No Play; Not An Option

Yesterday was such an exhausting day for me. It was the deadline for the submission of our case to the court of appeals and I wasn’t aware of it until my former colleague told me. The day was spent sorting and photocopying documents. We managed to make time to have our lunch to quiet our growling tummies, and we were even able to squeeze in a little playtime on one of the restaurant’s foosball tables while waiting for our food to be served. But the good thing is, we were able to get the needed job done, though it was exhausting, and the short time of fun and relaxation we fit into our day made it easier to deal with.
