It Was Worth the Wait, and the Trials

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

After having to undergo a difficult pregnancy for nine months, my sister-in-law Karen finally gave birth to a bouncing cute little baby girl on May 5th. Karen is a sickly woman and that’s why those nine months so difficult. She took the best prenatal vitamins available but the unusually extra hot weather took its toll on her. And she also had asthma problems the two months before the baby was born, as well as an ongoing low grade fever and her BP rose two weeks before she gave birth.

But thank heavens, the baby is healthy and Karen is now regaining her strength and health. We were worried during those final weeks when she was sick, but after seeing our newest bundle of joy who is not only pretty but healthy, we can’t thank the Lord for the blessings He has bestowed upon us.

Pretty Girls With Pretty Faces

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

These are my nieces Mawee and Wegee, 13 and 10 years old respectively. They are my sister’s daughters and we had this picture taken while snacking at a local Chinese Restaurant a couple of weeks ago.

I’m glad my acne isn’t that visible here; and Mawee’s too. Even at my age, I still have some problems with acne, but she’s in her adolescent years and the stuff is starting to pop up, mostly on her forehead, and some on her cheeks. We do hope Wegee will be acne free and not have need of acnefree to spare her the angst of having to deal with that issue during her adolescent years. It still is remains to be seen though since she’s only 10. But we’re hoping for the best.

Whose Feet Are Those?

We were in the beach about two weeks ago and while they were enjoying the water, i took a photo of my own feet. We can’t swim for some reasons so we just enjoyed ourselves taking pictures of just about anything. And here’s one of them. What can you say about those feet? Lol.
