I’m sorry but I really can’t reveal exactly what it was. But if you had been reading about my posts in this blog as well as in my other blogs, you will get an idea of what I am talking about. It’s not that I am trying to be mysterious or secretive. I am just being careful, that’s it. In this kind of world we live in now, I should or better yet, we should.

That’s how the husband describes our Sunday last weekend. You want to know why? Well, we just spent the whole day laying in bed and read our books. We even spared ourselves from doing any household chore. We did eat our meals on time though, but in between all of it was spent inside the bedroom. That’s our rest and relaxation to its highest level. LOL.

It was damp outside too because it rained the previous night. So, we really can’t do any yard work. The husband was planning of mowing the yard, but the weather prevented him from doing so. Well, it’s not bad at all. He had worked hard the previous week so, he certainly deserved a break.

The husband was such a busy boy today. He mowed and cleaned the yard – front and back, he cleaned the roof and got rid of all the leaves, he disposed of the materials that needed to be recycled because the bins were full, and he went shopping for groceries. I didn’t want him to go shopping because I knew he was tired, but he ran out of canned vegetables that he will pair with the chicken for dinner, and he can’t have dinner without his vegetables, so he went.

He is such a hardworking man which I am so proud of not to mention, a good boy too. And that is not only today, but everyday. (“,)

Wish I could add…in Seattle so I will be talking about the movie but unfortunately, it’s not the movie but the ordeal that I have to go through lately. Since the day that we arrived here in the land of Uncle Sam, my sleeping hours had not been the same. It’s either I slept a lot or too little. The latter being the worse. The longest sleep I’ve got was about 15 hours but that only happened once. The rest didn’t reach the recommended eight hour sleep. Oh well!

I know my body clock is still adjusting to a new time zone and I do wonder until when will I suffer from this. Some of my friends who had gone through it before said, I will be okay in a week or so. I’ve already passed the week limit and the two weeks in four days’ time. Let’s see what’s going to happen by then.

My yesterday was spent babysitting my 6-month-old niece, Summer. My brother, sister-in-law and mom went out to distribute the invitations for the upcoming wedding on November 18 and they were out the whole day. They are not done yet because there were about a hundred invites that they were going to deliver to each guest’s house. They will continue the adventure today which means my day will be spent babysitting Summer again. No biggy, though. She was a good girl yesterday and I know she will be again today like she always has been.

She didn’t even move a bit while I was putting my empty glass in the kitchen sink. I was holding her in my right hand and the glass in the left hand. Had she moved, I would have thrown the glass so I could hang onto her. Just try to imagine have difficult it was. But I was so thirsty that nothing could stop me from doing the unthinkable. LOL. Sounds like an action movie eh?

My brother and SIL’s pre-cana seminar started today and will end tomorrow. No one’s going to look after their baby, my niece so I am tasked to do the babysitting for two days. No problem. I missed taking care of babies and I actually have this feeling that I don’t know how to do it anymore. Hehe.

Anyway, my 4-month-old niece was such a good girl today. She didn’t throw any tantrums at all. She just cried when she’s hungry and laughed a lot now too. Today was the first day that we heard her chuckle actually. That was really cute!

She will be back here tomorrow and I hope she will be a good girl again like today. See you tomorrow, Sum! Mwah!

Have you been in a situation where you couldn’t think of anything else to do because you feel like you’ve done it all? That was the situation I was in yesterday. I’ve seen all the DVDs we rented; I’ve read all the books my fiancé sent me; I’ve read all the magazines I bought; and though I can watch TV if I want to, the shows are just not to my liking. But, I could go play the playstation 3 but I’m simply not in the mood for a game, or I could sing in the videoke but I don’t want to wake the neighbors. LOL.

Well, I just seem to be in a total state of I-don’t-know-what-to-do. There are even more things that I could do but choose not to do, so why bother even thinking about it? I’ll just chose to continue being bored and wonder why I’m bored. (“,)

Was there a time in your life that you thought of taking sleeping pills so you could get the sleep that you badly wanted and forget about the many trials and pains that life has brought you?

I was in that situation before and I did think of taking those pills but changed my mind eventually. Life has its ups and downs and it’s up to us how to deal with them. Facing them with courage make us a better and stronger person. But if we’re weak in dealing with them, then that would make us an unhappy individual. And who’s going to suffer? Not only us, but those around us as well. Still, one must be well rested and sharp to deal with life’s issues, so it’s not a weakness if you need help in getting your rest.

I was reading about Blue Cross Blue Shield NC insurance policies when…POOF! The power went out again! This is really becoming totally aggravating. And that was as early as 7 o’clock in the morning. It used to go out at around midday or late in the afternoon.

As per the news, we’ll be continuing to experience these rotating brownouts until early June. Imagine that! I do wonder if the authorities are going to try and do something about this. They can’t even give us a proper schedule to know when the brownouts will occur. They need to at least give us a heads up as to when and how long the power outages will be so we could at least prepare. But there’s been nada.

Oh well! I think we will just have to live with this, huh? Poor us! (“,)

I’m referring to our (my son and I) passports. I finally got hold of them yesterday. I had them done rush because it is needed ASAP and I’m glad I was able to get them even before the paralegal would ask me the information they needed.

I never thought they would need the information this time so I was surprised when they asked me about it. After I was told, that was the only time that I get one as well as for my son. It had to be rushed because of that and I was apprehensive too upon learning that it would take fifteen business days before I’ll get it. Glad everything fell into place.

I’m done with the missions now. Well, partially though since there will be more missions to accomplish soon but that would be in about four to six months yet so no biggy. (“,)
