It’s the Thought That Counts

Monday, December 19th, 2011

It’s five more days until Christmas. Yeehaw!!!

I am really excited, but I am more excited for my son and my husband. It always excites me to see the expressions on their faces when they open their gifts. Though my gifts are simple, unlike those cheap morgan dollars, I know they will really be surprised, especially the husband. I can just imagine the look on their faces. Teehee.

I Need Some Scratch to Get Rid of My Itch

Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

My hands are feeling itchy once again. Itchy for shopping online, that is. There are a lot of things that I want to purchase for my husband and son, but the problem is, I don’t have enough moolah to buy them all.

I was thinking of getting a cash advance, but I realized shopping is not of the utmost importance at the moment. There are more things to be prioritized and take care of. But I will work on it and I know pretty soon, I will have the cool cash for my much-desired shopping spree. (“,)

I Want to Work, and Yet Stay Home

Thursday, April 21st, 2011

I only get to go out on the weekends when hubby is home and that is because, I don’t know how to drive yet. Shame on me! But you know what? Staying home has its advantages too. One thing is the household is well taken care of, I get to enjoy naps, enjoy a good read, browse the internet and not to mention, learning while doing so.

And there’s one thing that I want to do while I am at home and that’s to have a small business. To be precise, an online store that would sell women’s clothes and other such stuff. They are my weakness so I might as well deal them too. There are also a lot of franchise opportunities online that I have seen and want to get myself into, but I need more info about that. I am still on the verge of thinking about things and how to get started, so wish me luck.

I Love My Job/Jobs!

Saturday, September 18th, 2010

I am a stay at home mom but I am still working and earning. And that’s by being a blogger. I do help the family too in our family business which has been for the last 15 years. But just like any business, ours has its highs and lows. Despite that, we’ve managed to make it a successful home business. We have our office here at home which allows me to be of help as well as do my blogging.

We know that trials will come our way in the future, as it does in any business, but as long as we stay determined to do a good job and be productive, we will continue to be a success, and I’ll get to stay at home and not have to deal with the hassle and stress of the rat race out there in the everyday work world.

No More Headaches For Me!

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

There was a time in my life that I was suffering from intense headaches that would normally appear after spending so much time in front of the computer. I thought it had something to do with my eyes or I was already having a migraine. But fortunately for me, I will not be searching for the best migraine treatment nor the best eye treatment because neither or the two were the reasons behind those headaches. I was just stressed out! Too stressed from all my online and offline tasks that I do as a blogger, as an employee in our family business and as a mom to my 7-year-old son. But I’m not at all complaining. I enjoy what I do and I was happy with my life despite the headaches. Still, I took some time to chill out and focus myself and they disappeared. Maybe they were as fed up with me as I was with them. Hehe.

It’s All About Survival

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Even now, the time I started in blogging two years ago is still very vivid to me and I can’t thank my friend Mabelle enough for opening up this fascinating and profitable world to me. She was my mentor and she has supported me from the beginning. I am a widow and have been a stay-at-home mom since the company I worked for had problems, costing me my job. And earning an extra income at home has been instrumental in making my life and my son’s a little easier; actually, it’s been a true lifesaver for us.

We’ve made it through some hard times because of the earnings I made through blogging. I’ve also learned from friends how to earn more online. We all are in the same boat – stay-at-home moms who are making ends meet using the money we earn online, and we are still hoping to learn of more opportunities for us, always keeping our fingers crossed, seeking and hoping to hit the jackpot of success.

The “Pac” is Back!

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

I finally got to see Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s fight on pay per view for the first time. Before, I had to wait until the delayed broadcast on television and since I am not really a boxing fan it was only important that I get to see our fellow Filipino, Manny, and now that we have pay per view, I’m good to go. He is a resident of our city and we are proud to hear our city being mentioned during his fights. He is the first ever boxer in WBO to hold seven world titles and winning the bout today makes it eight, I think. The country is now celebrating his victory, though it wasn’t a KO like everybody would have liked to see; still it was fun watching it live!

For sure, promotional products will abound once again after the victory of our country’s hero, Pacman. It’s always like that before and after his fights. And more often than not, the supply is not enough for the demand. That goes to show that Manny Pacquiao is idolized by many, and everyone who can’t get a glimpse of him in person just has to satisfy themselves with souvenirs or promotional products.

Congratulations, Manny for bringing home the bacon again!
