My Comfort Zone

I was reading a pronexin review when I heard loud knocks at the door. I thought it was the kids from next door again, but much to my surprise, it wasn’t. it was my hubby’s best friend, Jimmy. He dropped by to deliver gifts for my son. And I was surprised to see what it was: a baseball and a glove plus a Play Station DVD.

He is a baseball coach for the little league here in the city and he was vocal about teaching my son how to play the game this summer. I am so excited about it; more so my husband because he is a huge baseball fan. We all can’t wait for Yogi to start.

I practiced on putting make-up earlier and I didn’t like what I see. Guess what it is? Wrinkles!!! Whaaa!!! Well, it’s inevitable and at my age, there’s no stopping them from showing. I know there’s not much yet compared to some, but still, it kind of bothers me. Well, that’s what make-up is about right? To hide those flaws. The problem is, I am still practicing. I am hoping though that in time I will get to master it. If not, then I will simply grab me one of those anti-wrinkle creams. That would be nice.

Facial wash and face moisturizer, my night is not complete without them. I call them my before bedtime rituals and I feel like I am so dirty without putting them on my face. There was one time that I ran out of them and I didn’t get the chance to buy any pronto! So I had to suffer the ordeal of not feeling clean and fresh at all. After I got up the next morning, I actually felt that my face looked five years older. LOL. Well, it has been a part of my routine and my life seems to be in an ordeal when things like that happen and I miss one of my routines. After that incident, I make sure that I always check and see if I need to buy more supplies.

I thought of my niece today and wondered how she’s doing. The last time I saw her, she was fretting about her acne once again. It has always been her problem since she started her teenage years. She has already tried a few acne medicines and treatments and though they helped her some, the acne kept on coming back. Maybe the acne loves her so much and that’s why it’s not leaving her. LOL.

Seriously, I really hope she’ll get rid of it soon. I do wonder if she had tried acsonix. I heard it from a friend how effective it is. Maybe I will just ask her about it and see if she’s aware of other possibilities.

Once again, I find myself in search of home acne remedies because my young niece has had another flare-up of her worst enemy. She’s such a beautiful young woman, and all the boys are already going ga ga over her. But, during this stage of her life, as she buds into a woman, she finds herself waging a never-ending battle against those horrid skin blemishes. I know the feeling and I try to let her know that once she grows older and matures, she’ll out outgrow this problem.

But at the moment, that is of no consolation to her; she wants all to be right at this very minute! So, I do all I can to help her, because what are aunts for?

I didn’t have a good night sleep last night. Maybe it’s because of all the excitement that I am feeling, thus, a sleepless night. What can I say? I simply can’t help it. I am so excited to see my fiancé and I wish I could erase the days till he’s is finally in front of me again.

Gladly, I don’t look tired and haggard even though I didn’t have much sleep. My eyes are still glowing as always, though I can’t deny the fact that I badly need an anti wrinkle eye cream. They are not so visible as of yet, but they are undeniably there once you look close. I am in my 30’s so they sure are starting to show but I am not at all worried by it. I am aging gracefully but, still, I want to look my best when my honey sees me again.

Among the many things that bothers me when it comes to beauty is nose blackheads. I am not at all vain but once I feel that my nose is already rough because of the blackheads, it really freaks me out and I get itchy to have my facial pronto! A facial can be a little painful especially when they are starting to prick the blackheads but I have no choice but to endure the pain if being blackhead free is my goal.

And guess what? As I am feeling my nose today, it is starting to get rough again. So, I think I will be having my facial again pretty soon. Hmmm…
