Hang in there Sis; All will Be Well

Friday, July 9th, 2010

One thing that my sister-in-law has been constantly looking and searching for in her adult years is adult acne remedies. Her acne has been constantly showing and actually multiplying every year. They seem can’t get enough of her face. LOL. She has tried all the acne solutions, ointments, etc., that she has been told to try but to no avail. She’s the type who won’t try anything that she finds anywhere without recommendations from a friend or a family member because she definitely knows that some of those can ruin your face even more. But maybe not all of us have the same skin texture so those acne remedies that gave good results to her friends didn’t do anything for her. In time I know she will find the right treatment. Just don’t give up, Sis!

“Head” ‘Em Off at the Pass!

Blackheads…blackheads…blackheads! Who wouldn’t whine about it? I definitely can’t raise my hand for it’s been my problem ever since I reached my teenage years. I’ve had facials several times and it got rid of them, but only temporarily for they come back after a while no matter how much I wash and clean my face.

Maybe I should just look for a good treatment for blackheads that will get rid of them totally and forever. That would be the best thing to do I do believe. But maybe you have something to recommend. Please let me know; I’d really appreciate it!

Put ‘Em Down and Keep ‘Em Down Before they Even Pop Up

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

I thought of my sister all of a sudden while I was playing with some apps here on my pc. I was just wondering if she was able to find acne solutions for her daughter Mawee. She’s in her teens and acne is starting to pop up on her pretty face, especially during her menstrual period. Luckily, though, she doesn’t have it all the time like other teens do. It only pops up at those certain times, but still it is something my sister wants to help her control because aside from the fact that it can be painful at times, it doesn’t look good and can be embarrassing, especially for a young woman of her age because one’s peers during those trying teen years can be cruel, and I want my niece to have wonderful memories of this time in her life.

Going ‘Round & ‘Round in Circles; First the Power, and Now My Eyes!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

I know I’ve been writing a lot about the rotating brownouts that we’ve been having, basically whining and complaining about it, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s aggravated about this situation. All of us here are fed up with it and we feel so helpless because there’s nada we can do about it.

It’s more annoying when it happens in the evening because it interrupts the cooking of dinner. And who can sleep in this blazing heat (other than Lucifer himself) without a fan or air conditioning? I’m actually starting to have dark circles around my eyes, though it’s not that visible yet. But soon, if this continues, I know I’ll eventually need some eye cream for dark circles because the brownouts will be an ongoing scenario until June. And again, I know I will not be the only one who’s complaining about this, or who will be needing an eye fixer upper.

I Don’t Mean To Sound Like A Crybaby, But…

…these power outages from the rotating brownouts are really becoming a pain in the neck, not just for me but for dad’s construction business as well. We do have two generators but they’re not enough to satisfy the needs for the jobs that need to be done, as in pronto! Dad’s thinking of getting another generator but, unfortunately, there are no more available in the market now because of the ever increasing demand.

I know I shouldn’t whine like this because I still have a lot to be thankful for but I just can’t help it. Maybe I’ll just have to get myself busy and try to forget about this. The thought of checking for acne vitamins did cross my mind a few minutes ago so let me just do that now because this acne on my right cheek is really bothering me. And here I am, whining again. Stop it Lynndee! LOL.

Pretty Girls With Pretty Faces

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

These are my nieces Mawee and Wegee, 13 and 10 years old respectively. They are my sister’s daughters and we had this picture taken while snacking at a local Chinese Restaurant a couple of weeks ago.

I’m glad my acne isn’t that visible here; and Mawee’s too. Even at my age, I still have some problems with acne, but she’s in her adolescent years and the stuff is starting to pop up, mostly on her forehead, and some on her cheeks. We do hope Wegee will be acne free and not have need of acnefree to spare her the angst of having to deal with that issue during her adolescent years. It still is remains to be seen though since she’s only 10. But we’re hoping for the best.
