What’s Next?

Friday, March 19th, 2010

I’m now going to feed my pets. Woooot! LOL. Yeah, I’m getting quite hungry now after doing my online tasks as well as my tasks from the family business. I’m still not totally done with the last one yet because I’m still waiting for something. I’ll continue doing that tonight.

So for now, off I go first and see what I can grab at the fridge. I do hope there is something to grab in there though ’cause if not, my pets would surely whine. Hee hee.

See yeah later, folks! (“,)

What’s Up, Mom? I Do Wonder

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

It is my nephew Migui’s 10th birthday today. He is Earl’s youngest brother so it equals to two celebrations because it is also Earl’s graduation from the 6th grade. I can’t wait for the food that we’re going to fill our tummies with later at the party. For sure, there will be a chocolate cake because that’s everyone’s favorite.

But enough about that story for now because I just got a task from mom to find proactiv reviews for her. I’m not sure where she’s going with this since I didn’t bother to ask her. I’m sure she’ll let me know in time, especially if I bug her enough.

I will blog more about the celebrations later and I will include photos of not just the celebrant and the graduate but of the food that for sure will leave you drooling. So better watch out for that one! (“,)

It’s All About Survival

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Even now, the time I started in blogging two years ago is still very vivid to me and I can’t thank my friend Mabelle enough for opening up this fascinating and profitable world to me. She was my mentor and she has supported me from the beginning. I am a widow and have been a stay-at-home mom since the company I worked for had problems, costing me my job. And earning an extra income at home has been instrumental in making my life and my son’s a little easier; actually, it’s been a true lifesaver for us.

We’ve made it through some hard times because of the earnings I made through blogging. I’ve also learned from friends how to earn more online. We all are in the same boat – stay-at-home moms who are making ends meet using the money we earn online, and we are still hoping to learn of more opportunities for us, always keeping our fingers crossed, seeking and hoping to hit the jackpot of success.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Yeah, I know I’m already a day late but I totally forgot about it. If my fiance’ didn’t remind me, I wouldn’t really remember. But you can’t really blame me because we don’t celebrate it here in our country. I only read it on blogs before but I don’t really know why they celebrate it and how they celebrate it.

My fiance’ told me about it and yesterday, he did celebrate by having a Shepard’s pie and an Irish whisky at his favorite pub with his friends. I’ll probably get to celebrate it soon and for sure, I’ll get a slice of the Shepard’s pie too. No whisky for me! Hehe.

Going ‘Round & ‘Round in Circles; First the Power, and Now My Eyes!

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

I know I’ve been writing a lot about the rotating brownouts that we’ve been having, basically whining and complaining about it, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s aggravated about this situation. All of us here are fed up with it and we feel so helpless because there’s nada we can do about it.

It’s more annoying when it happens in the evening because it interrupts the cooking of dinner. And who can sleep in this blazing heat (other than Lucifer himself) without a fan or air conditioning? I’m actually starting to have dark circles around my eyes, though it’s not that visible yet. But soon, if this continues, I know I’ll eventually need some eye cream for dark circles because the brownouts will be an ongoing scenario until June. And again, I know I will not be the only one who’s complaining about this, or who will be needing an eye fixer upper.

I Don’t Mean To Sound Like A Crybaby, But…

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

…these power outages from the rotating brownouts are really becoming a pain in the neck, not just for me but for dad’s construction business as well. We do have two generators but they’re not enough to satisfy the needs for the jobs that need to be done, as in pronto! Dad’s thinking of getting another generator but, unfortunately, there are no more available in the market now because of the ever increasing demand.

I know I shouldn’t whine like this because I still have a lot to be thankful for but I just can’t help it. Maybe I’ll just have to get myself busy and try to forget about this. The thought of checking for acne vitamins did cross my mind a few minutes ago so let me just do that now because this acne on my right cheek is really bothering me. And here I am, whining again. Stop it Lynndee! LOL.

Congratulations, Earl Matthew!

He is my nephew and he is graduating from 6th grade today and just thinking about it makes me feel so old. Hee hee. It all seem like yesterday when he started in pre-school and by the next school year, he’ll already be in high-school.

He is the cutest among my nephews, I would say. He’d probably be a heart breaker in time. LOL. Just kidding. He’s a good boy and is doing good in school though he’s addicted to computer games. Good thing is, he didn’t let those games affect his schooling. Good boy!

Congratulations, Mat-Mat! That’s what he is fondly called here at home. Be a good boy always!
